Imagine youre there.. in your dream body.. fit and healthy at 65kgs.. How do you feel? What are you wearing? Wow you feel so amazing! Youre so strong! Thats the thinking you need to have! No negative thoughts.. Your thoughts are very powerfull.. Think Happy be happy! Try it for one day!
Focus on the positive! Not the negative! For example!

HOORAY!!! im size 14 again haha and im down to a S/M instead of an L/XL hooray!!


Also while trying to order my birthday dress online i had to contemplate whether i should get the 14 which would fit me or the 12 that may fit me if i go crazy for the next 8 weeks.. hmm hmmm decisions...

anyway basic point of this post was just to remind you.. your thoughts are what spur you on or bring you down! If u can imagine yourself how you want to be and feel how good it is instead of bringing yourself down all the time! itll give you more drive! youre almost there! you can do it!! =)




EASTER!!

Holy Moly..
Ok so i thought i was doing really good.. didnt really eat any chocolate easter weekend.. yup heaps good i survived! weekend passes.. week starts and HALF PRICE EATER EGGS!!! and im doomed!
So much chocolate! i dont even like chocolate but they must put something else in these easter eggs cause damn i keep munching on them! and by munching i mean SMASHING THEM DOWN!! arghh

This 50g Easter egg is 380 calories! and the protein bar is only 99!
Its a cookies & cream protein bar! and its filled me up! I would eat 2 of those eggs in one sitting quite easily! but today i bought protein bars! SO MUCH BETTER FOR YOU! and yet you still feel like youre getting some chocolate!

Fresh fruit & veggies, lean meat, low fat yoghurt & milk, nuts & dried fruit for a museli slice im going to make! and also for ontop of my healthy weight loss oats!
Smoked salmon for my lunches! 99% fat free blueberry muffins for Justin & Immy!
And ofcourse my protein bars for those emergency situations when id normally turn to easter eggs haha

Healthy Eating



Some Recent healthy eating...

LAMB WRAPS!!

 Boneless Lamb Shoulder with fat removed (ask your butcher to do all the hard work! hehe)
Rubbed with Olive oil, garlic and fresh rosemary and grilled on the BBQ
Using mountain bread wraps! Fill with Lamb, Baby rocket and spinach, tomato, cucumber and a small amount of cheese! (CHEESE IS LOTS OF CALORIES!!!) and a teaspoon of ranch dressing!

MMMmMMMmMMMmmMmmm!!!!

SO EXCITED To try out some new recipes i found! I have modified them to my liking but making sure theyre still healthy! Some i have even made better =)
MMmMMmmm i bought Weightloss oats.. they have extra protein and fibre added and no sugar!
I got the pecan nuts and blueberries! yumm cant wait to have it!
The yoghurt im going to put with grapes and the cinnamon! I LOVE CINNAMON! and no not the cheats cinnamon sugar! haha

Reward yourself..


So.. i've almost lost 13kgs.. thats massive! Not to mention i have lost 51.5cms and 10% body fat!
To reward myself.. i booked a Penthouse suite in the city for my birthday celebrations!
How exciting!!


I think i used to do this ^^^alot! Oh youve been so good lets go out for dinner! big mistake!
I dont want to go out for dinner anymore! i dont want to be around shit food and id rather spend the money on going to the movies or another PT session haha or maybe that full body massage ive been wanting for months haha


In PT the other day.. my first session in 3 weeks because of our holiday and me having the flu! I felt like shit.. We did a cross fit style workout which was SO hectik! It was a time trial and we had so many sets to do and you had to record your time.. We werent versing each other but our own times.. but me with my competitive nature is always versing Mel.. Well that made PT awfull! Shes so amazing! the last three weeks without me she has gotten so much fitter and stronger! She blew me away! I can look at it now and go wow.. Mel is amazing but at the time i was thinking how could u drop the ball for 3 weeks rach? u cant even keep up now.. Mels getting so bored having to wait for you.. youre so shit.. and at one point i was doing a 1km run and i had tears in my eyes.. i felt like the most useless person.. i still had 600m to go and my mind was telling me to stop.. i couldnt deal with it.. So i told my brain to go fuck itself and put the treadmill up to 14! and smashed out the last of it! The faster you go the sooner its over! Admittedly i got off the treadmill and was going to throw up haha but hey all in the name of making my mind stronger!

 Sometimes you have to tell yourself to shut up and just get into it! Turn off the notorious female winge switch and do it.. The hardest part it just deciding to go.. yes im going to the gym.. done then its all easy.. i alwaysthink its such a hassle and i dont really want to go to the gym.. then i get there and im like yeah sweet lets go! i want to stay all night haha Just remember..

"the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results"

If youre letting your mind slip into abusive negative thoughts you will never get stronger..

Running...


First attempt running the camden bike track...



Just for the record we walked the first length and then ran back..
It was SO HOT!!! silly thing is we started too late!
Funny note: I used to live next to the bike track and when mel asked me how long it was i said "dude probably like 18kms!" yeah... its only 3! hahaha How big things seem when we're small.
We did really well! considering Mel was still sick! and i had a sore throat.. Next time we will go early morning!

So on the Map it doesnt look like we had very good pace.. but we ran alot! and we smashed our negative thoughts long enough to push ourselves a little bit further everytime! I wanted to stop running so bad but just kept thinking keep going.. just to the next st.. to that car up there.. just keep going.. and we eventually made it to our goal.

WOO HOO!!!

Easter can suck it! haha


DOWN 1.6kgs this week!! down to 84.3kgs!! hooray! Now i just have 9kgs to lose in 8 weeks... hmmm... lets give it a go haha Think of the overall goal.. i have 37 weeks to lose 19.3kgs! Ok so thats really easy looking at it that way!

Arm: Down 1cm HORRAY FINALLY
Chest: Down 1cm
Waist: Down 8.5cm DAMN!
Hips: Down .5 yeah little disappointing haha
Legs: Down 1cm..

Putting things into perspective..


My job has tought me some pretty good things.. Being around the older generation makes you realise what really matters..
 Its not about how you look because we all end up looking the same! Its about how many memeories you have.. the photos on your wall.. how many grand children you have.. what your husband did for a living.. how long you were married.. No one cares if June is a size 10! Its about how you lived your life! Think Rose from titanic! and all her photos!


 Theres a 100 year old lady at my work that can pretty much do everything for herself! She moves around so easily and is always bright and happy! I want to be like her.. Fit and healthy with a strong body that will last me my whole life! WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO YOU? Focus on how you feel! Not who's skinnier than you..


Well.. im off to run the bike track as practice for the 4km mothers day classic im doing in a month.. wish me luck haha
