WEIGH IN WEDNESDAY

OMG! 10 YEARS LATER RACHEL!!

 86.1kgs this morning! lost 1.7kgs this week! Which is awesome because i have felt terrible about going off the rails... been busy and sick so havent really done any gym! My body is whack! haha..


SO.... since our holiday.. We got home on the saturday had a day to unpack and settle back into our house! However on Monday i was straight into the city for Training! 3 days and 2 nights staying in the city! Eating nothing but hotel food and whatever i could put my hands on! Luckily i took my 1 litre water bottle and made sure i was drinking plenty of water! Which is easy to do when youre sitting in a classroom! Breakfast was a buffet... I would have bacon & scrambled eggs and a little hashbrown! A glass of orange juice and some yoghurt with passionfruit.. Unfortunately it wasnt low fat yoghurt but i didnt eat much!
 Morning tea was mini lemon meringue pies..  or quiche (YUCK).. little finger food type crap.. tried to limit the amount of crap i ate so didnt have any! i would have loved to have an apple!
 Lunch was a buffet the first day so i had some form of stewed beef thing with rice.. the other days i bought 2 sushi rolls from across the road! mmmm and dinner was pub type food. First night i had salt & pepper squid with salad! It was awefull there was so much pepper on the salad i couldnt eat it! The second night i got a MASSIVE chicken ceasar salad and ate half!  Theres no law that says u have to eat shit when you go out.. just remember little things like portion control! Dont feel like you have to eat the whole massive plate of food! mentally divide the plate in half or even 1/3 and just eat that! Push it away so youre not tempted to pick at it! When serving your own food try and remember this:

I just try to get a small amount of protein (palm size) and then salad or veggies! Use a snack plate!
While working out you need to train your mind at the same time! Challenge your mind and your negative thoughts! Or just blank it out like i do haha
And remember so many different people have got their goal! Theres no reason you wont too! Just remember itll take time and it will be hard but what would you rather? eat whatever you want and not exercise.. how would you feel? fat horrible depressed sure go back to that! Or.. eat healthy feel great inside and exercise regularly and be proud of yourself!

I GOT A JOB!!! Working at an aged care facility! I dont sit down! im running from one hallway to the next and up and down stairs! Dont have time to sit down and eat until i get home which is good i dont munch on crap all day! I do have a break and i have an apple but the down side i dont get to drink much water! My husband suggested a camelback! hahahaha (backpack type waterbottle with a long tube straw) SO FUNNY! i actually considered it but id look like a big weirdo!


Longest post ever but ive had alot of time to make up for!
Keep at it! keep moving and eating good! if u go off the rails just remmber hwo u felt after and consider that next time you think you want to eat crap! Garantee you'll think twice! =)

WEIGH IN WEDNESDAY

No Weigh in this wednesday!

Roast chicken wraps on mountain bread! for lunch and Bunless burgers for dinner =)




I feel like im doing so well with my eating and exercise.. its so hard to get out there when youre so used to going to the gym and doing classes or having your Personal trainer tell you what to do! I actually have to try and think about how im going to burn my 500 calories haha

Yesturday i made justin come with me to help me out with my 100 squat challenge... didnt help that it was 3 in the arvo and scorching hot and super windy on the beach! Not to mention my husbands presence putting me off my workout lol I may not have done my 100 squat 5 burpees every minute crazy challenge but i still managed to burn 587 calories even though i just wanted to chuck a tantrum and go back.

My shins were killing me so i had to think of something different to keep my heart rate up as walking wasnt enough. I started doing side skips? man they hurt my calf muscles haha so i would do 20 on each side and then run for the count of 50 and repeat.. Today im going to do a a circuit that involves
30m sprints then 10 x sit ups,
Sprint then 10x push ups,
Sprint then 10x squat jumps,
Sprint then walking lunges
Sprint then 40 sec hovers.
and repeat that 5 times! Unless i die beforehand hahaha

 I seriously need to strengthen my core muscles itll help me run better i think!  
Key factors to remember... Eat clean and train.. doesnt matter what you do aslong as you get puffed and sweaty! Hardest step is starting!

 Keep eating simple! Meat or Protein with salad.. veggies...
Just keep at it! You dont want to look back in 6 months and say "yeah i could have done better" for me i dont want to get to my birthday goal and say.. "if only i had worked that little bit harder.. i may be at my goal now.." I want to make myself proud! be able to say i worked hard for this body! Everyday its a battle but no one ever said it would be easy!

WEIGH IN... Saturday?

So... not taking my scales on holidays.. they dont deserve it haha So i thought id weigh myself before we left! Im pretty sure my scales are broken! Cause i weighed in at 87.2! Thats 2.9kgs loss! WHAT THE?! im excited to get back and weigh in and measure up!

My trainer ..god love her! sent me an email with some workouts i can do while im away!

"Hey Rachie! Hope you are having fun and lapping up the holiday.

Here is 3 workouts you can alternate with a beach run, aim to run for at least 15 minutes.

Workout 1:  (ARE YOU CRAZY?!! It'll take me 5 days!)
100 squats with 5 burpies on the minute every minute.
- Put a timer on and get as many squats out as possible, as soon as it hits 1 min 5 burpies. Continue this untill 100 have been complete, obviously the longer the burpies take the less time you have to do the squats, therefore...more burpies. I did this work out with 5kg DB's and it took me 6:59, let me know how you go :)

Workout 2: (Not so bad... but its still going to hurt!!)
10-1 Push up's, sit up's, tricep dips (using a bench or chair), star jumps.
- 10 reps of the above, 9, 8, 7...so on and so forth.

Workout 3: (i hate walk out push ups arrggghhh)
- *Do this one on the beach*
30 sec sprint, 20 squat jumps, 10 walk out push ups, 1 minute rest. repeat 5 times.

Workout 4: (this one is the best haha)
Enjoy time with your family, make the most of the time with Hubby too ;).

HOLIDAY MODE!!

Really excited to go on holidays this week! Why? THE BEACH!! I was more excited about working out on the beach haha Its so peaceful having the family together! My mum & her hubby and my little family left on saturday to go to One Mile Beach Nelsons Bay! We had a really good drive up the kiddies slept most of the way! Took healthy snacks in the car and frozen water bottles!
Planned lots of healthy meals! Last night we had lime crumbed fish and sweet potato wedges!


Woke up at 6:30 this morning to go for a run on the beach!


 The beach was so decieving it just kept going and going and going i felt like i was running on the spot haha
 THE SAND DUNE FROM HELL!! Ok so i had been really excited to do some sand dunes.. ITS SO HARD!!! I would run the whole length of the beach then run up this and DIE!! then go back down and Run the beach again only to come back and do it all over again! I ran up it three times!

 It was so beautiful as the sun was rising totally worth getting up so early to workout =)

An amazing way to start the day! its only 10am and i have so much energy! i just want to get out and go exploring! Yesturday i didnt end up doing a workout and i was so sleepy and bored.. Really happy with myself that im working out on my holiday! Its good to mix up your workouts! FINALLY running in real life haha Dont miss the gym at all!

Yeah....


I may be back at 90kgs.. put on 900g this week.. i was expecting it! i havent been exercising everyday and have been eating way too much take away! One day i ate a whole bag of maltesers! Like what the hell dude?! You know the mind set i get? "everyone else gets to eat shit! why cant I! I want to eat whatever i want!"  like im missing out... i seriously have to exercise my mind control! DO you want to be fat and not be comfortable in clothes.. or do you want that shit food?! its really up to you..



I just need to restart my thinking! Stay strong and start again!

in a way im seeing progress... My heart rate takes more effort to get up high and recovers really quickly.. but i feel i should be doing so much better on the scales! I am losing centimetres so why am i not losing kgs?! sooo cranky... sigh..

Just an Update

For those of you who read my blog..

Recently have experienced a bit of a back slide with my eating.. and have seriously slowed with my exercise! I'd say the past two weeks its like i have given up.. i feel a little defeated.. the main attitudes running through my head is.. im so exhausted all the time and its getting me nowhere =( or everyone else (my husband) can eat crap so im going to eat crap too! stuff it!
NOT GOOD!!!
Not to mention Imogens birthday party.. but suprisingly i actually ate pretty well! Only had one cupcake.. one chocolate spider and chicken and salad.. however.. when the party was over i ate the last lolly bag which had rattlesnakes maltesers and milky way inside haha mmmm it was so good hahaha

Havent even done this weeks menu plan.. cant really afford shopping this week.. spent most of the money on Immys party.. still have a few meals of meat in the freezer and heaps of frozen lasagne!
i bought a massive lasagne dish!!! it makes about... 12 serves of lasagne.. 13? anyway it makes ALOT!!! mmMmMmm '
 This is a photo of me on the bike at the gym! Going hard at it! I find i can totally smash it in classes and on the bike.. oh and sometimes in PT but i cant go as hard on the treadmill as i do on the bike!
And a photo of me and my bestfriend after our workout.. you cant see how sweaty we are but we were dripping =) good late night workout!


 My baby turned 3 this week!! The photo on the left is her at her 1st bday party! nawwww and the one on the right is now! My how they grow up so fast! her sister will be walking before we know it!

Monday! Have to start a fresh!! no more shit food! and cranking up the exercise again! A short walk this morning as i have PT tonight! 503 cals down and another 600 tonight during PT! really wish i could do that much everyday! but its a little hard when you have kiddies to look after!


You can see 503 cals on my HRM and I walk the slowest when im trying to get immy to school haha
My new moto: FINISH STRONG!! i ran at the end of my walk well jogged with the pram until the wheels went all funny then walked then jogged again haha stupid pram! have to get a jogging one

 As always forgot the sunscreen! and the hat and the sunnies! so got really hot! not as badly sunburnt as my 9km walk haha Evie was safely covered in her pram and pretty much asleep the whole time =)
