Take time to relax..

Relaxation..


Excited for my Brahma Kumahri's Yoga and wellness retreat thats coming up next weekend!
Its high up in the mountains! Amongst beautiful nature away from the hustle and bustle of western suburbia..
It's all vegetarian! So that should be interesting! Im not really a fan of tofu.. but always willing to try new things! After all i though almond milk would taste like shite.. but its damn good! haha


I'm going to set myself a challenge to switch my phone off all weekend.. its a bit crazy i know ill turn it on at night haha It would be nice a whole weekend without technology! I went out and bought comfy clothes that are warm! It will be cold but i dont have any non fluro gym type things to keep me warm while we are meditating.. not so worried about when we will be doing the yoga cause you get hot..


Relaxation is important! You need to stop and take in what your mind and body are telling you.. sometimes when we work out so much our bodies are exhausted and if youre not listening you can do alot of harm.. not just ot your body but to your spirit... Stop.. think and listen..



Our new relaxation technique.. Spa and steam room session! Full of great chats and the heat! Its so relaxing! Mel & I were talking about giving "Hot yoga" or "bikram yoga" a go! Yoga in very hot rooms is supposed to be amazing for flexibility and weight loss! Or atleast incorporating a yoga class into our weekly routine!



Take a break everyday to stop and relax.. take a few slow deep breaths concentrate on relaxing every muscle in your body! Listen to the bable of your mind.. acknowledge it and then shift it aside.. This is the time to focus your mind on what you want.. hold it there and continue to relax.. i do this while im in bed it helps me to fall asleep =)
